In 1990, Paul Orberson entered into the world of direct selling, a world he would influence considerably in the next several decades. Before becoming a direct seller, though, Paul was a high school teacher and coach in Danville, Kentucky. Though he loved his job, Paul was tired of struggling to provide for his family with a limited salary. He decided to quit his job to pursue the world of network marketing aspiring to provide his family with financial stability and secure future.

After one-and-a-half years of struggle in the network marketing industry, finally Paul started to see success. Before he turned 40 he had become the most successful network marketer in the industry’s history and had completely retired. But as a retired man, Paul was restless and wanted to do something to help others reach their goals as well. With the help of Tom Mills, a former Kentucky school superintendent and fellow retired network marketer, Paul launched Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing in January 2001.

A decade later, Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing continues to grow as one of the most successful direct selling programs in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Paul and Tom encourage the company’s Representatives to give back to their communities and lead by example. The pair’s dedication to seeing other people succeed, regardless of age, race or educational background, is reflected through the success of the FHTM and its Representatives. As President, Paul Orberson remains active in the daily proceedings at the company headquarters in Lexington and often appears as a motivational speaker at FHTM events.
